Guide is top notch with helpful tips--a best buy

This guide was a great find--I think someone on one of AOTA's list serves suggested it. It would be excellent for a fieldwork student as well as a more experienced therapist. The authors gives lots of tips that I should have been told in school or during fieldwork but wasn't. It's a best bet for any therapist interested in improving his/her skills.

Broken spiral binding on top & bottom of book, therefore pages keep falling off as you turn them. If it was half off or something, I could live with it. But when it is full price and described as in perfect condition but not, then that is not fair.

Intelligent Unmanned Ground Vehicles shows the progress that was achieved during this program, from brittle specially-built robots operating under highly constrained conditions, to groups of modified commercial vehicles operating in tough environments. One measure of progress is how much of this technology is being used in other applications. For example, much of the work in road-following, architectures and obstacle detection has been the basis for the Automated Highway Systems (AHS) prototypes currently under development. AHS will lead to commercial prototypes within a few years. The cross-country technology is also being used in the development of planetary rovers with a projected launch date within a few years. The architectural tools built under this program have been used in numerous applications, from an automated harvester to an autonomous excavator.
The results reported in this work provide tools for further research development leading to practical, reliable and economical mobile robots.

I will make time for you...

I really enjoyed these books, however, I felt like I was really getting into them and the story was getting good and then they just ended. With Trent's story it left off in the middle of the conflict. There was a hint to a fourth book with Travis and hopeful if there is it will add an ending to the other three's relationships.

About the Author

Michael S. Casey is Professor of the Humanities at Graceland University in Iowa. He holds a doctorate in Philosophy and writes extensively on military history. He is co-author of Teaching the Korean War: An Instructor's Handbook. As a member of the Kuwait-United States Defense Review Group, he helped to plan the rebuilding of Kuwait's post-war national defense, during which time he lived in Kuwait and worked with the top echelons of Kuwait's defense establishment.

Good Overview

This is a comprehensive documented history of Kuwait. Its really great if you want to know dates of the first settlers, how people emigrated form Saudi Arabia and the early conflicts of the tribes all the way to the discovery of petrol, how unjust Iraq's claim was over our land, pre-and post invasion days. The development of industry, and the negative effects of excessive subsidizing in the world's foremost welfare state. Yes, that what we are, a WELFARE state. I was disappointed however that the book didnt go into the detail i wanted (ya3ni it generally didnt name names and give the full story of immigration to our country) but it was very informative. oh, and it tells exactly what happened during the invasion, FOCUS ON APRIL GLASPI (US ambassador to Iraq before the invasion) PART ON JULY 25 1990 AND HER COMMENT TO SADDAM HUSSEIN AND YOU WILL SEE SHE SAID: " the US has NO OPINION on the Arab-Arab conflicts like your border disagreement with Kuwait". no opinion??? you swear?? and they invaded us less than a week later! draw your own conclusions! AAAND... unlike our social studies books books, it does give one instance of who killed who to get power. Get it if you are Kuwaiti, you should know this stuff!
But dont forget, not all of his facts are set in stone. There was a lot that was missing from this book and i got a definite feeling that Casey was avoiding "controversial topics".
